Ms. Essel started her work with WiLDAF Ghana  as an Administrative Assistant  in November 1999 and has risen through to become the Programmes Manager. She is the team leader for the Communication and Advocacy Department. In this role, she provides leading and supervisory role for the C &A team and also coordinating and facilitating of workshops in and outside the organization among others.

She currently hold a post graduate certificate in public Administration from GIMPA, Ghana, Post Graduate certificate in Development Students from Trent University, Canada and a Bachelors Degree from University of Ghana Legon in Social Sciences.

She takes charge of International events like International Women’s Day, 16 days of Activism Against Gender Violence and many other projects in response to the implementation of Domestic Violence in Ghana among ensuring the promotion of the image of WiLDAF. Patricia is the focal person for WiLDAF’s partnership with Crossroads International and coordinate the implantation of Domestic violence project as well as supervises the Girls empowerment Project in Ghana.

Additional Experience :

Prior to her working with WiLDAF Ghana she assisted the then Dean of Law Faculty, Prof Akua Kueneyhia in her office.

She had a short internship with West African Aids Foundation WAAF
